Specifying the time and place of a meeting: "70 Av. des Tennes (17) ETO 54-62 [...] après-midi". - An autograph manuscript by an unidentified French writer, titled "Intermède héroique", is loosely enclosed (4to, 3 pp. on 3 ff.). It describes the atmosphere during the first months of the First World War, when German victory seemed imminent: "Les semaines tragiques d'Août et de Septembre 1914, où hésitait la Victoire, où on avait pu croire un instant que Dieu la donnerait aux Allemands et qu'une monstrueuse injustice serait consacrée, il les avait passées à Paris [...]".
