Teodósio

Brief mit eigenh. U. ("Principe").
Autograph ist nicht mehr verfügbar

To Joao Ruiz Branco, the governor of Leiria county, giving orders regarding the tithes of Óbidos and Alcobaça. Teodósio, heir-apparent of Portugal and the first Prince of Brasil, was a very intelligent and literate young man (he was known as "the astrologer prince") and the great hope of the Portuguese Restoration. His death caused great unrest in Portugal, given the physical and mental weakness of his successor Afonso VI. - Somewhat stained, traces of folds. Autographs by Teodósio are exceptionally rare due to his premature death.
