[...]". - One of the most prominent representatives of Pointillism in Germany, Stremel specialized in landscape painting, portraiture and interiors, worked in Munich, Dachau, Eppan, Dresden, Hyères, Venice and Ulm, and was a member of the Munich and Berlin Secessions as well as the Deutscher Künstlerbund. - A few small ink spots. Self-addressed by the collector on the reverse. The Mecklenburg physician Scharlau (b. 1888) assembled a collection of artists' autographs by personal application.
