Inscribed to the German dermatologist Alwin Scharlau: "Wünsche Ihnen gute Erfolge als Sammler [...]". - A member of the Munich "Künstlergenossenschaft" and the "Luitpold-Gruppe", Müller was a talented landscape painter inspired by study tours of Algeria, Italy and Poland, as well as Neubeuern Palace in Bavaria. - A few small ink spots; faint creases near corners. Self-addressed by the collector on the reverse. The Mecklenburg physician Scharlau (b. 1888) assembled a collection of artists' autographs by personal application.
