An „Carola v. In a word, I have a considerable fortune and no heir“: „I suppose it would be ungrateful not to accept your fantastic offering, but shouln’t you think it over once more? I would like to know a litte bit more about you, your life and your thoughts about life and death, about your husband, your family, your journey to Sweden, your age, everything. Do you think you could stand such an inquisitive heir? […] I was never very interested in money but very interested in my work.
And in children. Wissen Sie, ich habe eine ,Stiftung’ […] This ,Stiftung’ has one single purpose. To make life a bit easier and happier and more beautiful and worth living for children. There are so many children who need help […] What do you say, couldn’t some of your ,considerable fortune’ after our passing away go to this ,Stiftung’? And we two could sit on a cloud up in the sky and hear children laugh down on earth.
