Beautiful musical excerpt from his opera Zingari, which premiered on September 16, 1912, at the Hippodrome in London. Zingari, composed by Ruggiero Leoncavallo, is an opera that depicts the love and life of the gypsies. Although less well-known than Leoncavallo's more famous opera "Pagliacci," the work showcases the rich and passionate sound for which the composer is renowned.
