To an unnamed friend, offering him a box at the Paris Opera for the debut of her husband, the baritone, composer and art collector Jean-Baptiste Faure, which the recipient had promised to attend: "C’est vendredi prochain que mon mari début à l’Opéra. Vous nous avez promis d’assister à cette première représentation et j’espère que vous voudrez bien accepter une loge, peut-être un peu modeste, mais la meilleure que nous ayons pu obtenir [...]". - Constance-Caroline Levebvre and her equally famous stage partner Jean-Baptiste Faure (1830-1914) had married in 1859.
