The earlier postcard was addressed to his friend, the painter Pierre Brune (1887–1956), informing him about his current exhibition in Sweden: "Quant à moi en dehors de ma paresse chronique, je travaille. Je montre en Suède en ce moment une demi-douzaine d'images que j'ai faites moi même, et entièrement à la main." - The charming letter dated 6 November 1950 to an unidentified friend nicknamed Miette concerns Labasques self-styling as the "great lazy one" and the beginning of winter. - Well preserved.
