Un mot de Votre approbation sera pour moi un vrai succès. Je l'attends de cette amitité que Vous m'avez toujours temoigné et que j'apprecierai toute ma vie avec un attachement amical [...]". - A note regarding the former collector and donor on the reverse: "donné par M. Zimmermann". - With a later collector's number "64" in pencil. Traces of former mounting on reverse. A few small marginal flaws.
