Unlikely meeting between representatives of two unrelated (or not so unrelated?) literary worlds in a Berlin suburb. The discussion about the essence of Dadaism begins with Rudolf Kassner's "Zahl und Gesicht" (1919) and takes us via Plotinus, Scheler, and the phenomenologists to the ideas of Otto Gross: "Dada hat diese Erkenntnisse nur ins Allgemeine und Ironische, in die Selbstauflösung verlegt.

They part; Kafka boards the streetcar and disappears in the direction of Kaiserallee, "[i]n eine ungewisse Dämmerung in der es kein Wiedersehen gibt." Hausmann published this text about his obviously fictional meeting with Kafka in the May/June edition of the "Prager Nachrichten" (vol. 11, no. 5/6). - Carbon copies all with punched holes; slightly wrinkled and creased. The accompanying letter concerns Hausmann's sending the the present collection to the Berlin gallery owner Werner Kunze..
