"The aspiration of mankind is Liberty: And to defend it, is our sacred duty". - After the Second Revolution in 1913, Xing, who was one of the leaders in the Nanjing Interim Government since 1912, was forced to flee first to Japan in 1913 then to the United States in 1914, threatened by the president of the newly formed Republic of China Yuan Shikai. After the death of Shikai in July 1916, Xing returned to China where he died in October 1916. A very rare document representative of his fighting spirit. - In good condition.
