To the pianist and composer Pierre-Joseph-Guillaume Zimmerman (1785-1853), asking him to return the two volumes on music from the "Encyclopédie méthodique" by Charles-Joseph Panckoucke, as well as the score of Rossini's opera "Armida" (1817), mentioning that he would have come in person if he were not a little ill: "Peux-tu remettre à mon Iris Le Dictionnaire de Musique de l'Encyclopédie Pan[c]kouke, 2 vol. dont un de Momigny La partition piano d'Armida de Rossini Je serais allé te les demander si je n'étais un peu malade pour cause de chute, non d'un opéra [...]".
