Written on the day of the Battle of the Sesia, to Capino da Capo, a soldier in imperial service. Castiglione desires to have reported immediately in case of defeating King Francis I, so that he were the first to bring good news to Pope Pope Clement VII, who, at that time, was allied with Charles V: „[...] nui stiamo qui in ottima speranza che li Francesi tutti sta[ro]no sbattuti ancor che alcuni qui bravino sopra li svizeri.
