She is now allowed to get up for an hour or so every day. However I am still acting as her amanuensis. She asks me to send you her best love [...]". - Beckett had married Suzanne Frances Winslow, daughter of the noted psychiatrist Forbes Benignus Winslow. In 1900 he was still on the staff of the magazine "Punch", and published his work "London at the End of the Century". - With embossed address and collector's note to the backing paper.
