An official NASA red number photo, S-69-31739, showing all three members of the Apollo XI mission crew, signed by each of them: Neil Armstrong (1930-2012) as "Neil Armstrong" at left; Michael Collins (1930-2021) as "Michael Collins" at center; and Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin (born 1930) as "Buzz Aldrin" at right; in addition, Collins has inscribed a dedication message as "To Tom / with Many Thanks -" at upper center. The glossy color photo was printed on Kodak paper. The portrait shows the crew in white space suits, seated or standing in front of a blown-up detail of the lunar surface.

Ex-RR Auctions (Amherst, New Hampshire.) with their certificate Apollo XI Commander Neil Armstrong, Command Module Pilot Michael Collins, and Lunar Module Pilot Buzz Aldrin crewed the Apollo XI mission to space from July 16-July 24, 1969. Armstrong and Aldrin were the first humans to step onto the moon's gray and granular surface on July 20, 1969.
