To an unnamed addressee (apparently the Belgian author, filmmaker and documentarist Henri Storck) thanking him for having recommended to him the music of Maurice Jaubert: "Cher Monsieur, de passage à Bruxelles, je vous adresse ce disque de Maurice Jaubert. C'est à François Porcile et vous que je dois cette chance d'une collaboration posthume avec un grand artiste qui fut votre ami. Aujourd'hui que mes images viennent escorter une musique écrite par vos images, je tiens à vous remercier pour le fair-play qui est le votre et vous dire mon plaisir de cheminer ensemble, votre reconnaissant François Truffaut". - Maurice Jaubert (1900-1940) was a French composer known for his film music; Truffaut used his music in four of his films between 1975 and 1978. François Porcile (born 1944) is a French film producer and musicologist who worked with Truffaut as a musical consultant and especially helped him to adapt Jaubert's music. - On headed paper "Hotel Metropole".
