Interesting correspondence with friends in French and Italian, outlining remarkable points of her career. - To the financier and journalist Émile Pereire (1800-75), hoping he might be able to attend one of her last performances before her depature for New York aboard a ship operated by his "Compagnie Générale Transatlantique": "Avant de partir pour l'Amerique je jouerai encore deux fois à Paris [...]

(Frankfurt, 23 Sept. 1856). On mourning paper. - To the writer Paul de Saint-Victor (1827-81) with best wishes for the New Year: "Or permettez que j'en suive l'impultion en vous offrant les voeux de bonne année que je forme pour vous, et vous priant de croire qu'ils sont sinceres [...]" (Turin, 23 Dec. 1855).
