Private letters to a lover or very intimate friend addressed to "mon petit Georges", who appears also to have been Ludwig's doctor. The only dated lettercard from 7 January 1898 concerns a gift of cough candy: "Mon docteur à qui j'offrais un bonbon tout à l'heure me dit : 'Voilà un envoi intelligent, c'est délicieux et très bon pour la gorge'. Je reconnais bien là mon cher petit Georges qui pense toujours à tout et qui je remercie de tout mon cœur de me gâter ainsi. Un gros baiser [...]". - In one of the lettercards, Ludwig sends greetings to Mademoiselle Ducasse, probably the opera singer Alice Ducasse. - Two lettercards with mourning border. One card with embossed monogram.
