Quant à mes articles sur [...], si je ne vous les ai pas envoyés jusqu'à ce jour, c'est pour une raison indépendente de ma volonté et que je vous dirai de vive voix". - Fernand Le Borne is largely forgotten as a composer but merits a place in the annals of film history as the first composer to write an original score for "L'Empreinte ou la Main rouge" in 1908.
