Inscribed to the German dermatologist Alwin Scharlau: "Ihrem Wunsche gern entsprechend zeichne [...]". - Working for the Royal Porcelain Manufacture in Berlin from 1903 onwards, Hubatsch created countless Act Nouveau models, mostly of human figurines, and was awarded a gold medal at the 1910 Brussels World Fair. - Traces of a postal stamp near right margin. Self-addressed by the collector on the reverse. The Mecklenburg physician Scharlau (b. 1888) assembled a collection of artists' autographs by personal application.
