[…]". - Having started to model life-size groups of animals out of wax at an early age, Bartels-Heimburg won the "Prix d'honneur" at the 1906 exhibition "L'art de la femme" in Paris, her works being acquired by prominent contemporaries including Luitpold, Prince Regent of Bavaria. - Faint traces of a stamp. Self-addressed by the collector on the reverse. The Mecklenburg physician Scharlau (b. 1888) assembled a collection of artists' autographs by personal application.
