[…]". - After travelling the Netherlands between 1888 and 1896, Bahner settled in Hesse in 1901 and applied himself to landscape painting, specializing in forest and town scenery. - Self-addressed by the collector on the reverse. The Mecklenburg physician Scharlau (b. 1888) assembled a collection of artists' autographs by personal application.
