A short note recounting the fortunate circumstances of Leprince-Ringuet's rediscovery of a particularly charming house at the quai de Béthune in Paris: "Je suis toujours dans le joie lorsqu'une occasion favorable me permit de retrouver l'admirable maison du quai de "Béthune" et la chambre ambiance artistique de Madame Renaud". - The notable French physicist, science historian, and essayist Leprince-Ringuet was involved with establishing the the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) and served as vice chair and chair of its scientific policy committee. He discovered the kaon particle and coined the term 'hyperon'.
