For the department of Mont Blanc, a certificate at the request of emigrant Joseph-Bertrand de Chamousset, baron de Gilly, to have proceeded with this charge and discharge: "Je soussigné secrétaire de la commune de Gilly, certifie, qu'à la réquisition du C.en Joseph De Bertrand de Chamousset, avoir procédé ce charge et décharge des N.os sig. 257 [...] et deux journeaux, deux cents Toises du No. 8 a prendre part du couchant, incrits à la cotte de Guillaume de Chamousset et de beaufort pierre, et en avons chargé le requérant ensuite de Son contracte d'aquis de la république Française [...]".
- The sale of national assets of "second origin" which sequestered from a decree of July 27, 1792, was meant to both sanction "enemies" and resolve the financial crises caused by the Revolution. After the seizure of possession of the clergy, king, nobles, schools, juridical and administrational institutions, a second step included for instance the property of emigrants as Chamousset.
