To an unnamed recipient, conceding that he "is right" and mentioning "our brave Morel", probably the composer and director of the conservatory of Marseille, Auguste Morel: "évidemment ! vous avez raison. Mille remerciments [sic] et tout à vous. Je n'oublierai pas notre brave Morel". - The visiting card is from Doucet's time as secretary of the Académie Française (1876-95), possibly the year of Morel's death in 1881. - Minimally stained.
